Western Welcome

Calgary Flames burned the Leafs 4 to 3 Tuesday night on the ice. After Leafs Alex Ponikarovsky scored the first goal of the game, the boy`s from Toronto allowed the Flames to take the game to them.
Calgary made the score 4-1 in favor of the home side until 14:53 of the third period, when Nik Antropov scored for the Leafs. Not enough offense to keep the game close, and Matt Stajan`s goal at 19:06 was to late for the come back.
Dustin Boyd scored 2 goals, and Captain Jarome Iginla and Dion Phaneuf who was not expected to play because of an injury scored the other goals for Calgary.
The Leafs lost to a Calgary team, that was on a two game losing skid, and now face the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday, that are on a two game winning streak. After beating the Montreal Canadians 6-3 in their last game, the Leafs should be looking to that game to find the same playing intensity, that generated 6 goals, or I can see the Leafs coming home pointless after their Western Swing.
