Same Old Feeling

I`ve got that same old feeling about the Toronto Maple Leafs, win one lose two or three. Losing 5-2 Tonight to Boston.

The pattern has begun, for years the Leafs have a history of winning a few then losing a lot. I am a Leaf fan, just a realist fan, I realize they`re going to lose more games than they will win.

Boston is looking like a good contending team so far this season, and handed the Leafs their third lose in a row.
Mikhail Grabovski scored a goal making it his 5th goal in three games. Ian White had an assist to mark his second point in his third game.

Its still to early in this 2008-09 season to tell how Toronto will end up in the standings. After the first game against Detroit, in which the Leafs won.
Call in shows in Toronto had unrealistic fans phoning in to say, the new look Leafs were going to win their division, or definitely be in the playoffs. The host quickly put an end to that nonsense.

If you are a Leaf fan, be patient with the new look team. And become a Realist like me.
