A few days after the first round Stanley Cup knock out of Chicago by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1967, Phil Esposito said to his team mate Bobby Hull, "our team may never win again with two jerks like them in charge", (the coach Billy Reay and General Manager Tommy Ivan).

They were sitting across the room.

Hull challenged Phil to go tell them. So he did! Three weeks later, Esposito was traded to the Bruins.
