After a game by the Great One, he and the rest of the team were signing autographs before boarding a bus to the airport when they were informed it was time to go.

The players on the bus and Wayne noticed a child crying to his father. So Wayne said, "stop the bus!".

He then got off and made the young boy's wish of meeting his hockey idol a reality.
